A Turkish vocal sample pack is a set of cleared vocal recordings sung in Turkish, cut so they can be dropped into a beat without clearance paperwork. MIRA is one, with 262 sounds in four categories: adlibs, construction kits, loops and one shots. The files are 16 and 24-bit stereo WAV, and each one carries its BPM and key in the filename, so a loop labelled 97 BPM Am is already in a state your DAW can time-stretch and your ear can check against the beat.

Ester Tube Equalizer. The original runs the signal through a valve on the way in and another on the way out, with the passive equalizer between them. ESTER puts what those valves do when you drive them - the density, the harmonics, the way the sound shifts under a push and takes a moment to come back - into one tube stage in front of the equalizer, like a preamp, faithfully for both tubes the original was historically built with.

The new version of SIMON adds a mathematically perfect model of the OP-AMP from a mastering equalizer, with three L/R matrix modes: EQUAL - both channels share the same harmonic structure; MODERN - each channel carries a subtly different harmonic structure; and VINTAGE - each channel has a distinctly different harmonic structure. It comes as two saturation models - OP-AMP, true to the hardware, and OP-AMP LP (Linear Phase), the same chain with its upper-band phase rotation resolved - alongside DIGITAL, SIMON's original clean saturation.

These banks showcase the true capability and versatility of the Yamaha SY77. The realism of many of the patches comes from the 6 operators of the SY77 responding differententy to velocity levels, so the sound is dynamic as an accoustic instrument. The patches go far beyond the "canned" samples sound of the ROMplers of the period. The SY77 is a truly remarkable synth which can rival modern VL synths.
