Anthology Late Night Jazz Vol.3 [MULTiFORMAT]
Team DECiBEL | 09 November 2020 | 19.40 GB
'Late Night Jazz Vol 3' by Anthology sets a new standard for Jazz sample packs, bringing you 20GB of world-class recordings in five complete arrangements inspired by Jazz from the late 70's and 80's and the late nineties/early 2000's underground Lounge scene. From Hip Hop to House and Progressive Rock, these kits cover a variety of Jazz sub-genres, taking you on a free-flowing journey through the progression of this ever-evolving genre. Includes world-class professional saxophone performances from Leo Janssen.
In the third installment of this best-selling series, the saxophone takes center stage, performed by acclaimed Dutch Saxophonist, Leo Janssen. Of course, these steller sax samples are accompanied by silky-smooth melodic elements and intricate percussion to create a sonic atmosphere fit for dim lighting, cigar smoke and top-shelf whiskey.
Compositionally this pack is right at the top of the game. In the first kit, named 'Looking Back', you'll be greeted with gentle piano, guitars, walking basslines, and of course, soulful sax riffs as Leo shines brightly, especially during the long intro of this track. The second kit features a more urban beat, in which Leo riffs the tenor sax with British legend, Dick Parry in mind. The third kit consists of a compositional tribute to Jazz guitarist Pat Metheny and Rock artist Todd Rundgren, mingling two styles to create a composition that beautifully captures the essence of genres.
In the fourth kit, Leo shines once again, this time on his soprano sax, paying homage to Branford Marsalis, an avatar of contemporary Jazz excellence. The fifth kit, named 'Go Ask Leo' delivers a fusion style Jazz - the only pure form of the genre that survived the seventies and eighties.
All files are labelled to indicate which bars each loop occupies, so you can easily find the part you need. The inclusion of OMF and AAF files allows you to delve deep into the structure of each song and modify them on the fly. And of course every file is key and tempo-tagged for seamless integration into ACID, Garageband, Logic, Ableton, and more.
All content is meticulously edited by our Anthology in-house sound engineer, John van der Lugt.
