Splice Originals Disco Strings [WAV]

Dramatic at their core, these disco strings could find a home on the dancefloor, woven into a lush soundscape, or as the centerpiece of a French indie film score. As the latest installment of our quarantine series, violist and violinist Will Marshall recorded this pack in his home studio in Brooklyn, NY. He layered each instrument—two violins and one viola—eight times to craft the huge sound associated with disco strings.

The resulting one-shots and loops are soaring, emotive, nostalgic, and perfectly tailored for French house, nu-disco, pop, among many other dance music styles.
