- unfortunately it will work for some, and for some others it won't, it just depends on the hardware code and if your computer accepts it, basically just pray while installing.

- I had the same problem but I fixed it! The 10.1.2 download has no Key generator but the 10.1.0 does. Its a big download just to get the key generator but it let me create an authorization file for the 10.1.2 version just fine. After you create the file just launch Ableton and drag the created file right onto the window asking you to authorize it. It works Perfect on Mac OSX High Sierra!!

  Run ableton and choose ‘No Internet on this computer‘. Save the Hardware Code on your desktop
  To run the keygen on Mac, you need a software that can run Windows-based programs on Mac – We recommend using WineBottler
  Right-click or Ctrl-click ‘Ableton_KeyGen.exe’ and open with Wine. Choose Run directly in …
  Copy the Hardware Code and paste it in the KeyGen. Click ‘Generate’ and save the Authorize.auz
  There are two ways to activate live 10.0.1 Suite; 1) Drag the Ableton License file to your Mac Ableton Live 10 Suite or 2) Double click the authorization file
  Open Preferences and turn off Automatic Updates & Send Usage Data

- Things are becoming so indolent and lazy here. Either make a release that universally works or don't bother. I'm tired of seeing these "it might work" releases! It's not the spirit of where we started from! Where is the dignity in a lazy "hope for the best" chuck it out anyway release. There used to be honour in warez!! The respect we have for the great efforts of those who have spent hours and weeks in properly cracking these awesome softwares should not be eroded with half cared for lackadaisical attempts!

  I have sum running 10.14.6, which is the very last (optimised?) version of vanilla security standards, and it doesnt work either.
  
  You guys think that this is a rushed release, to chase the one that windows put up,
  
  I can't even try out the keygen but it says 2016...so cant be a new account

  Warning: if you have previously entered in your hardware code, then you do not need to unpackage HCiSO folder, just use the one from 4 years ago. Still works
  
  Again, thank you for your support, and please buy Ableton 11 when it is released

- Attention MacOS users, getting any version of Ableton 10 to work post-Catalina 10.15.1
  
  Simply do not alter any files within the Live10.app
  
  a) this goes for stuff like importing themes
  b) changing .txt's or optimizing the standard settings
  c) moving ANY custom options into the Live10 contents folder
  
  Do all this AFTER you get the go from Ableton and launch past the scans (do not skip these or the scan for user folder) into session view.
  
  Its 100% guarantee against getting the "...cannot be opened, move this to trash" error. Likewise find a sourceable link, and cross your fingers that the versionwise download goes smoothly. DO NOT SKIP SCANS IN ORDER TO GET TO SESSION VIEW

  Is it me or is auth 10.1.25 working on MAC? Rollback to the older 10.1.15 and it will pick up the earlier auth automatic again . No need to use r2r app? During update to 10.1.25 it will ask if you want to remove 10.1.15 and typed yes. But auth seems to be on the mac as with windows. The update on Mac seems to be more intens i read then windows. So is that the reason why the Ableton Mac update is asking for new auth and the windows not?

  Working with video we have to go to 10.1.2X
  
  As of Live version 10.1.2, Live now uses AVFoundation for MP3 decoding, video playback and video export. AVFoundation is Apple's recommended replacement framework.
  
  only Live 10.1.2 is fully compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina.
  
  So we need this one and not roll back to 10.1.15.
  
  anyone got this working?
