- Magic in a room; some days ago in a NAMM 2018 YT video i posted this, maybe I'm wrong...but i prefer to live stucked in time...taking the best of the nowadays digital environment.... Witnesses of the end of times in the music industry, this clever engineers are doomed to make no history in music, Andy Johns is dead & with him all the real ones went forgotten except for promoting "The new & magic emulation plug ". The real knowledge of recording is gone. It is pointless recording something w/some kind of soul or real musical background with a 34 years old engineer behind the console.
  Tricks & tips full of digitalitis rules. Not a single record sleeve behind this guys represents nothing for me & I know they are smart, bold & have "certain" knowledge about his work. Is Adele the standard? All the tutorials have the same backing track, dull & boring post 2000 pop, electronic music, souless rock at best. I am stucked in time & if i had to choose give me a big Ampex MM 1000 instead of a Mac.... 01100101?. Sorry for being caustic but we're going nowhere....Next Grammy winner for...= next in the line of oblivion
