P2P | 25 February 2018 | 149 MB
Mixing and mastering are two different processes that require different techniques, approaches, and mindsets. In this tutorial, Maxim will demonstrate how and why equalization techniques in the mixing stage will be very different than the final mastering stage.
While mixing, multiple EQs will typically be used to harmonically mix together all the different individual tracks. In mastering, however, one EQ will be used on the master channel to help the entire track come together. Working within Ableton Live, Maxim will break these concepts down even further – using multiple types of EQs to further illustrate his points.
Both mixing and mastering can make a significant difference depending on how you approach them and they are extremely important stages for any producer.
