This cab is one of the most sought after, usually loaded with P50e™ Fat Bottom™ speakers. This particular one had been swapped with Eminence legends™ which turned out to be a welcome surprise; a diamond in the rough. The unexpected often gives birth to something totally new, and in this case, something ültra H E A V Y.

Otto Audio's method is an unrelenting pursuit of heavier, and after many shootouts, several different power amps, the final result is something sure to edge out whatever was previously deemed "Heaviest cab". These captures are all about grit, feel, tone and texture for true inspiration beyond the posterity approach.

OTTO AUDIO Vii iiT impulses are unofficial and unaffiliated, based on the VHT™ front loaded 4x12 loaded with Eminence™ Legends™

Naming method:
OTTO VI IT SM57-1

Each name is the Cab, then mic, then position on the speaker.

"1" is direct center of the cap, on axis, against the grill. Every following number is in reference to the center of cap,
"2" being to the right 1/2 inch (1.27 cm), "3" is another 1/2 inch to the right of the previous position, moving towards the edge of the speaker, and so on. These small adjustments give a ultra precise capture of the cab.
The higher the number, the farther out from the cap and
the darker the tone will be. Lower number = brighter.
TEN positions gives you ultimate control over your placement and desired frequency response, feel and highs vs lows content.

26 mic captures, 11 positions each - exhaustive and yet easy to navigate and find a great tone right away.

I added a total of FIVE variations of the the SM57 and it's forerunners.

Unique to this Vi iT Cab pack, NEW MIC Captures:

U87® BLACK, KM184®, C414 B ULS, SE® RNR1® RIBBON, LEWITT® LCT 440 PURE, Shure® 545 Unidyne USA (SM57 forerunner)

+Off axis capture with many of the mic captures for blending via Fredman® technique®

+ A pair of Rooms

Analog Mojo signal path - You've heard it a million times, but there's a reason for it: analog gear just has that warmth, life and something extra that makes audio feel organic - so I landed on running all mics through a Neve style signal chain, finely tuned and adjusted.

Sample rates of 44.1khz, 48khz, 96khz
