  Hey i got it to work but the way it's written is a bit confusing.
  
  Open terminal on mac and type in:
  
  chmod +x
  then hit space bar and drag and drop the patch.sh file then hit enter.
  
  Next, write in:
  sh
  then press space bar and drag and drop the patch.sh file again and hit enter.
  
  It will ask you for your password. Type it in and hit enter and then it will begin patching. I hope this helps!
