Splice Originals Tiempos - Latin Trap [WAV]
FANTASTiC | 11 November 2024 | 384.65 MB
Nothing marks the passing of time quite like watching a newborn develop, and that’s exactly what inspired producer Erick Bardales to create “Splice Originals: Tiempos”…or Time. A pack brimming with sounds that could fit into any trap, rap, hip hop, or Rand;B production, Bardales blends his signature dark and raw sounds with a new, brighter twist. He shared, “The majority of the ideas in this pack came to me while I was caring for my newborn son. I sat him next to me while I worked on it - when he’d make random noises, I’d record him and sample his vocals. I brought those ideas over to Splice’s Sound Factory in LA to finish and polish them up. This pack still has the grittiness I like to add to my productions, but with a more uplifting energy, as it’s an exciting time for me and my family.”
To craft this pack, aside from the help of his son, Bardales employed a combination of hardware synths, keyboards (Prophet X, Electric Piano 73, and the Arturia MicroBrute 61), virtual instruments, and vocals. The virtual instruments he used to create the melodic samples and most of the drum samples are Arturia V Collection 9, The Prince, ANA2, Scorch by Sauceware, UAD Moog Minimoog, and IK Multimedia’s Syntronik 2 Max. “I processed the synths and virtual instrument through my Chase Bliss pedals the blooper and Generation Loss MKII along with an external reverb unit Neve AMS RMX 16 500 to give it some life,” Bardales explained. “For the mixing process, I used a combination of the SSL channel strip plugins, Plugin Alliance bundle, The God Particle, Waves, UADx Native plugin, Izotope Transient Shaper, Sonnox Oxford Inflator, and the Gold clipper.”
