FNDR TWDLX 1957 NAM Essential DI
Neural Amp Modeler Guitar Amp Captures
(Fender Tweed Deluxe)
There's barely any other amplifier line that could have as good of a claim to be the most recorded amp on the planet as the Fender Deluxe series.
The Tweed Deluxe amps of the 50's are the stuff that legends are made of. It has been utilized for fabled records by so many big names of Rock&Roll history that it is futile to try and list them, but names like Neil Young, Don Felder and Billy Gibbons should be at the top of the list.
This small amp is deceptively versatile despite its simple controls and low wattage. In the studio it turns into a beast. It has a very organic, wooly, but detailed tone with beautiful cleans, edge of breakup and crunch tones. When diming it, it starts to get on the fuzzy side, but it is a beautiful ride with a lot of textures until you reach the point where it implodes into itself.
This particular amp is from the middle of 1957, the most desirable narrow panel era - a true 5E3 with original Output transformer, signal and coupling caps, as well as an original Jensen P12R speaker. Changed PT and electrolytics and a retweed make it the perfect players amp with everything that counts tone-wise well preserved.
The set includes 20 DI captures ranging from clean to lead gain levels and featuring various EQ settings per gain level. Please refer to the full list of Tone Models in the product pictures.
SPECIFICATIONS
- 2x6V6
- 1x12AX7
- 1x12AY7
- 5Y3-GT rectifier
- Cathode bias
- 12W output
