Amalgam Captures MRSH SLAFD ToneX Essential

P2P | 26 April 2025 | 2.16 MB
There have been many takes on the Slash tone, and i nparticular the AFD era, but one of the quickest and straight forward ways that will get you there is the Slash Signature AFD100 amp by Marshall, which was produced for only one year in 2011.
This will deliver you the searing, bright and stringy tones heard on so many Slash's records with ease. THIS is the thing that the amp is meant to do and oh boy does it deliver. For that bright, gained up, mean hot rodded Marshall thing it is hard to imagine anything else that does it better.
Our capture set that is based on this amp captures both modes - the 34 and the even gainier AFD mode.
It is NOT a versatile amp if you approach it by typical standards - it has no (usable) clean tones to speak of in the sense that it thins out and sounds harsh if you dial it in for clean sounds. But you will get glorious cleans, when dialing back yourt guitars volume pot, while being on a flat out screaming hot rodded Marshall setting with the guitar volume full up.
This is a must-have amp, if you are into Guns n Roses, Slash tones and 70's style hard rock in general - simply an iconic tone.
The capture set features 28 full captures and the amp was captured through a 1968 Marshall 1982B 4X12 cab with original G12H55Hz Celestion Speakers with Pulsonic cones. See a full list of included captures in the product picture section.

- 4x 6550
