Based on an emulation of those classic Vari Mu tube compressors/limiters (Al*ec436/R*124) in 500 series format. It provides smooth, vintage sounds with soft knee compression.
Specs:
- Attack : 1.2 - 10ms
- Recovery : 50ms - 1s, Auto (extra feature)
- Input : adding more compression and gain
- Ratio : 1.2 - 7
- Fuse : add/reduce grit (extra feature)
- Variable HPF up to 500Hz
- Switchable PEAK/RMS feedback detection (extra feature) (won't get triggered by makeup gain)
Preamp controls:
GDrive : generating more/less harmonics based on input level, output level is automatically compensated
Harmn : generating more/less harmonics unnaturally
Library features:
- Program dependent attack, recovery
- All sample rates compressor/limiter, clipper. Preamp 4 sample rates 44.1 to 96kHz
- Auto release function, Fuse, Switchable detection mode were added for versatility
- JPN Skins
suggested chain : Comp - clipper (optional) - preamp
designed to be used at -17dB RMS
