Neutron is a great mixing plug-in by iZotope, which combines the latest innovations in analysis and metering with industry-leading audio processing to deliver focus and clarity in your mixes. iZotope described It as ‘A smarter way to mix’.

With powerful new features like Masking Meter and Track Assistant, Neutron Advanced, which you can download on audiolove.me, helps you quickly reach an optimal starting point, clearly identify perceptual frequency collisions, and fully wield creative control over all your mix decisions. You can easy achieve unprecedented focus and clarity in your mixes with this plugin.

At Neutron’s heart is a chain of 5 main processing Modules: an Equalizer, an Exciter, 2 Compressors and a Transient Shaper. Clicking on any of these modules allows you to see their parameters, providing a comprehensive opportunity to shape each stage of the processing chain in detail. Dragging them to the left or right reorders the signal flow, but the underlying signal path runs as follows: you have control of the input gain for up to five processing modules, then spectral shaping, an output gain stage and finally a limiter.

Neutron's Track Assistant saves you time by listening to your audio and recommending custom starting points for your track. The analysis intelligence within Neutron allows Track Assistant to automatically detect instruments, recommend the placement of EQ nodes, and set optimal settings for other modules. You still maintain full control over all your mix decisions, but Track

Assistant gives you more time to focus on what's most important - your creative take on the mix.

Neutron Advanced provides the individual modules as stand-alone plug-ins too, as well as featuring 7.1 surround-sound support.
