this video gives a good overview on how I plan my sets and organize my rekordbox for the best possible DJ sets. don't overplan, but always go in prepared! you don't wanna be buried in the gear looking for the right tune all night.
they say the best DJs see the room a way regular people can't see - and bad DJs just see themselves. even though sometimes on IG it looks like it's all flashy non-stop routines for me, I'm actively reading the room and debating what to do 2-3 songs in advance. as an artist i'm always gonna stick to my sound, but i find ways to adapt and still stay tasteful and true to me.
ALSO... some tips on how I use related tracks to build sets/routines, how I structure livestreams, how different sets vary, etc.
