Kentaro dots Device [Max for Live]

Dots is a one-shot MIDI generator that outputs notes within a defined range - sequentially, randomly, or with skips. It offers control over velocity, duration, and interval randomness, enabling expressive variation. When loop mode is enabled, dots can continuously generate notes, making it ideal for creating ambient-style textures. Powered by gen~, it achieves fast, precise output with intervals as short as 1.5ms. While not generating chords directly, its dense note streams can evoke a chord-like feel.

Presentation Mode brings background information to the foreground, clearly visualizing generated (yellow) and skipped (blue) notes by velocity and duration. The interface supports intuitive control: click for single-shot, hold for looping. The trigger button can be modulated for LFO integration.
