Music Must Be FELT
A cinematic felt & LoFi audio effect that turns any piano or instrument into warm, intimate, nostalgic character in seconds - without a complex plugin chain.

Turn any piano into a felt piano. Turn any sound into a story.

You know that moment when an idea hits…
but your piano just sounds flat. Too clean, too sharp or just too much like everyone else's soft piano preset.

Within minutes you're scrolling through patches, stacking plugins, tweaking filters and the creative spark you had is gone.

You don't want more and more tools to keep track of and lose focus.
Instead, you want to play a few notes and suddenly feel like you're inside a scene.

CINEFELT is a cinematic felt & LoFi audio effect plugin that wraps your existing sounds - (soft) pianos, Rhodes, synth pads, guitars, even real piano recordings - in instant warmth, intimacy and character.

Drop it on a track, turn the main knob, and your standard, “no personality” sound becomes an intimate performance that actually moves you and others, without needing mixing-engineer skills or a 5-plugin chain.

  • Instant felt vibe: Transform any piano or keys into a cinematic felt sound in seconds.
  • From harsh to emotional: Soften edges, add intimacy without killing transients and definition.
  • One instance, complete chain: filters, compression, transient shaping, saturation, noise, LoFi, reverb and more... all tuned for the cinematic felt aesthetic.
  • Use the instruments you already love; CINEFELT gives them a unique, personal character instead of replacing them.
  • Write more, tweak less: Open your DAW, load your usual piano + CINEFELT, and you're in a writing mood before your inner critic even wakes up.

The Felt Knob

One Move to “That” Sound.

At the heart of CINEFELT is the big central Felt knob: your one-move shortcut from “pretty nice” to “this belongs in a film.”

Under the hood, that single control blends a carefully tuned chain of:
  • tone shaping,
  • subtle compression,
  • transient sculpting,
  • saturation, and
  • dynamic noise, reacting to your input level.

You get two base characters:

  • WARM – more vintage, textured and cozy.
  • CLEAN – minimal processing, for when you just want a gentle felt touch without extra color.

Dial in just enough “felting” to support the song - from barely-there softness to fully muted late-night piano confessions.

Shape the scene around your sound.

Once the core felt tone is in place, the Effects section lets you decide where that sound lives - from dusty vinyl record and dim living room to wide cinematic hall or total destruction.
