Each lesson, exercise, lick, riff and solo is built around these tracks, giving you real-world examples of how Gus thinks and operates, at varying levels of difficulty. What tuning do I need to be in?
Gus is tuned down a whole step to D standard (D, G, C, F, A, D). Power Metal 101 includes two variations of five Firewind backing tracks. Tune to D standard and use the original tracks, or tune to E standard for the exclusive pitch-shifted versions. This allows E standard guitarists to play along with the songs without re-tuning.
You can also use the transpose feature within Interactive Tab. This will automatically change the on-screen tab/notation, as well as the synth playback, to match any key adjustments.
