Continuous Loudness Control from RTW is a plugin or standalone software for automated adjustment of the loudness of audio files. It is used by home users and professionals alike who want to quickly edit unknown or long audio files in terms of volume, for example in the postproduction of live audio files, DAW audio and broadcast preparation for TV and radio. Thanks to its design as standalone software instead of just a plug-in, CLC can also be used without a host application, allowing the software to be used in third-party application environments without any additional DAW software.

Intelligent Algorithms
The special feature of Continuous Loudness Control is the software's ability to capture the specific dynamic range of the audio file and then immediately anticipate what will happen next. This predictive algorithm with very low latencies is ideal for automatically processing audio files on the basis of a preset loudness value, for example, with or without adjustment of the loudness range (LRA) and according to an adjustable True Peak value.

Automated batch processing
Broadcasters are also considered here. They often receive many different audio files, for example in MXF format, which they have to prepare for transmission. Therefore, Continuous Loudness Control offers a batch processing mode that automatically and unattendedly processes the loudness of the files. Incoming files from various sources are processed according to a preset, e.g. based on a certain genre. In expert mode, the presets can be defined even more precisely using different program types or publication types. In this way, you can accurately comply with global loudness guidelines such as EBU R128, with or without additional DAW software.
