Udemy Audiation And Musicianship Course Part 1 [TUTORiAL]

P2P | 31 March 2026 | 4.56 GB
Music Learning Theory by Dr. Edwin E. Gordon is becoming more and more popular to music teachers around the world. Many of us are seeing the benefits of teaching our students the way they actually learn music instead of the way we were taught music.
At the core of Music Learning Theory is Audiation. Audiation is the ability to understand music that we hear, that we heard in the past, that we have never heard before, that we're looking at in notation, all in our mind. Understand it, meaning what is going on rhythmically, tonally, harmonically, and even predict what might come next if it's something new to us. Audiation is not easy for those of us that learned music in a traditional way.
Back in 2021 I started helping other teachers use the Skill Learning Sequence, from Gordon's Music Learning Theory, to learn to audiate themselves. That is what this course is here to help YOU with.
Students in this course will also have the opportunity to participate in the Live Meeting Sessions offered once a year. You can sign up for an additional charge if the timing of the meetings are right for you. The day and the time will change every year in order to help teachers around the world to have this opportunity. These meetings are for teachers to come together and practice being students and being teachers using patterns, songs, and chants to learn to audiate together in a safe space.
One last disclaimer is that those interested in this course must purchase the book, "Songs and Chants without Words Volume 2" by Andrea Apostoli, in order to sign up. The link to purchase this book is on this page below.
I would love to answer any questions you may have. Please contact me with any questions.
Thank you, and happy audiating!!
