Synchrony Performance Encoder is a tool for musical performance analysis, which speeds up the process of tempo mapping using a new score-informed approach. Simply import a score from your notation software and record a performance directly into Synchrony using the record feature. Synchrony's advanced MIDI alignment algorithms will instantly find an alignment between the two, which is then used to generate a tempo which you can drag & drop into your DAW or import into your notation software.

Synchrony is not limited to those who work with notation software and traditional scores. You can also create a score or reference by recording your performance to a click track or quantising a freely recorded performance.

Aside from tempo you can also encode dyanmics and expression, allowing you to map velocities and CCs from one performance to another. Other features include a playback system and plug-in hosting in the standalone application as well as deep integration with Reaper.
