Luftrum Sound Design Luftrum Vangelis for Omnisphere 3 [Synth Presets]

P2P | 18 May 2026 | 84.89 MB
Vangelis for Omnisphere is a heartfelt tribute to one of the greatest electronic composers of our time – a soundset of synth emulations and Vangelis-inspired patches created with deep respect and attention to detail.
Originally released in 2022, the set has now been lovingly refined and updated for Omnisphere 3, featuring new effects, new patches, custom Velvet Verb presets, handpicked Mutations, and rebalanced sound design throughout.
The soundset features 135 presets – 110 patches and 25 multis – and comes with versions for both Omnisphere 2 and 3. For a full overview of the soundset update, check out this PDF for details.
Inspired by the timeless music of Vangelis, the set captures his musical journey – from the early era of L'Apocalypse des Animaux and Opera Sauvage, to the Oscar-winning Chariots of Fire and Koreyoshi Kurahara's film Antarctica, to albums like The City, Voices, Direct, and Oceanic. And of course, it pays homage to his most iconic work: The immortal Blade Runner soundtrack.
Few artists have influenced Luftrum as deeply as Vangelis. His ability to compose melodies that feel like direct extensions of emotion is something Luftrum strives to capture in his own work. Every release carries a subtle echo of his spirit – and this collection stands as a humble, personal tribute to honor the legacy of a giant.
Some of the emulations include the legendary CS-80 lead from Blade Runner Main Titles, the koto-like keys from Theme from Antarctica, the arpeggio from Fields of Coral, the synth brass from Five Circles, the fragile and delicate key from Le Petite Fille de la Mer, and the melancholic Blade Runner Blues synth lead – alongside many more tributes and reimagined sounds.
But the set goes beyond emulation. It also includes original patches freely inspired by his tone and spirit – expressive keys, evolving pads and strings, synthesized harps, sound effects of rain and wind, synth leads, and basses. Each one is designed with the same emotional intent that defined Vangelis' music – sounds we imagine Vangelis might have designed and used in his compositions. All presets are deeply expressive and velocity-sensitive, with modwheel and aftertouch playing an essential part in the performance of most of the sounds.
The Vangelis soundset is 102 MB and come with versions for both Omnisphere 2 and Omnisphere 3. The presets are organized in official Spectrasonics categories with a few dB of headroom reserved, and a PDF guide is included to walk you through installation.
