Moment Engine Rumble a Brodinski moment [WAV]

Legendary French DJ and producer Brodinski has shaped an entire generation of Parisian clubbers and Atlanta rappers. As the principal resident of emblematic Paris basement Social Club in the late 00s, he was at the center of a bustling scene that birthed names like DJ Mehdi, Gesaffelstein, Ed Banger Records and his own label, Bromance, which expanded this scene to the world, releasing artists like Lousiahhh, Danny Brown and Kaytranada. His subsequent work on 'Yeezus' and 2015 debut album 'Brava' brought techno production to American rappers, solidifying Brodinski as a champion of a cross-genre musical future that he channels to this day. Now splitting time between Paris and Atlanta, he's produced for Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Lil Reek, Slimesito, and continues to contribute to boundary-pushing underground rap and electronic music worldwide.

'Engine Rumble' is Brodinski's first sample pack: “I've been thinking of doing a sample pack for a long time but I wanted to do it right.” An ode to a long-running love of gas stations, motorcycles, and all things oily and loud, these sounds are industrial, mechanical, and speaker ripping. “I wanted to bring as much noise as possible on this pack,” he tells us. Toxic trap 808s and hihat rolls meet deconstructed techno rumbles and apocalyptic horrors, all compressed together to their absolute limit into bricks of sound at peak velocity.
