The MachineSound production suite curates the sound of underground Techno through months of research and forward-thinking sound design techniques.
A full production suite spanning 1,200+ samples, 200 Serum 2 presets, a bonus analog drum kit, and Production Methods Blueprints—our internal production process, with clear methods outlined for anyone who wants to learn.
This pack was born from a desire to combine club music with darker Berlin techno. The core pack consists of drums, basses, melodics, and FX in that style.
The bonus Serum 2 presets push the envelope further: the darker sound of techno meets forward-thinking synthesis to deliver left-field results, now included as fully programmable presets.
We recorded seven drum machines from different eras, ran them through vintage samplers, and combined them into one cohesive analog hybrid drum kit with 280 samples, including loops, stems, and one-shots.
The vocal pack includes 200+ vocals in a range of styles from around the world: intimate spoken-word club vocals, Spanish vocals, male rap, vocal one-shots, and vocal chops—all included as a free bonus with MachineSound.
Finally, the Production Methods Blueprints are a deep dive into the specific production methods we used, so you aren’t just getting the samples—you’re getting the process, too, so you can create new and unique material or apply parts of it to your own production.

The Collision Method
A creative philosophy document. It covers where the idea of forcing incompatible influences together comes from, why it works, and how to build it into a repeatable practice. Starts with what creativity actually means at its root, challenges the idea that constraints and collisions are the same thing, and ends with five practical exercises you can run in a production session. This is the thinking behind every sound in MachineSound.
Creative Distortion Blueprint
A technical document on distortion - not as an effect you add at the end, but as a sound design tool you build around from the start. Covers the physics of clipping and harmonics, a staged multi-unit distortion framework. Includes specific settings, signal chain examples, and techniques for kicks, bass, melodic elements, and full mix processing.
Drum Design Blueprint
A production document covering exactly how the drums in MachineSound were made. Details each of the seven drum machines and why they were selected, then walks through every stage of the process: raw recording, vintage sampler resampling through the SP-1200 and S950, outboard processing, granular processing, hybrid layering across machines, multiband distortion, and the final digital finishing chain. Every stage includes a takeaway so you can apply the same process in your own productions.
Detroit Techno Research Paper
A research paper documenting the full history of Detroit Techno - where it came from, how it developed across four eras, how it spread through Belgium, the UK, and Berlin, and what it actually contributed to electronic music production. Also covers its structural connections to sound system culture and Eastern European EBM. This is the cultural and historical foundation the pack was built on.
