Here you'll find a great range of lessons that don't necessarily fit into one of Bill's specific courses. Many are considered addendums to the content discussed in the Extreme Hands Makeover and are designed as interesting and novel ways to thin about a range of concepts relating to developing enhanced technique.
Drumkit Corner
Drumworkout is all about the hands for sure, but these lessons here will serve as a little bonus on the side. Please understand that we don't have ambitions to make this an exhaustively thorough drumkit lesson site, but I feel that these will serve as icing on the cake. Please feel free to discuss these on the forum and of course let us know if there's anything you'd like to see covered here. I hope they help you out!
Reefed Beats
First released in 2004, Reefed Beats quickly became the a quad classic for those with quads on the brain. Dug up from the vault, Reefed Beats' approach to fundamentals is timeless – strap in for an hour of chops featuring Bill, Evan Blackard, Dave Cox, Devin Namaky, Mike Hutton.
Rudimental Beats
Need to polish up that grip, or get some help nailing the Moeller whip? The Rudimental Beats DVD from Bill, a great technique and hand development guide, is the perfect place to start from way back in 2005.
The below videos are lessons which will teach you the fundamental techniques used in the all the workout videos. You must be comfortable with your grip, your rhythm / timing, stroke types and the specific techniques for each rudiment before you will be able to nail the higher tempos in the workouts.
There is also some extra content from the DVD below such as the “Rudimental Breakdown”, the “Get Good Quick Plan”, and “Perfect Practice” which is not specifically needed for the Workouts but has some important advice which is definitely worth knowing and applying to your practice routine.
Oh yeah, and the “Out-takes” has some classic Bill facial expressions, run-ins with native wildlife, and dancing – what's not to love?!
