Moment Pony Music a Vylet Pony moment [WAV]

FANTASTiC | 12 September 2026 | 197 MB
Portland-based producer and songwriter Zelda Trixie Lulamoon has dedicated her life to music—and ponies. Not only is her latest album ‘Love & Ponystep’ (a glowing 7.8 on Pitchfork) her 21st, but the catalog is encompassed by extensive My Little Pony-inspired worldbuilding, complete with its own wiki and a full cast of original pony characters (Aria, Top Five Videos & Dubstep Growl to name a few).
Internet ephemera, cringe culture & fantasy storytelling serve as Lulamoon’s palette to deeply explore identity, alienation, and self-acceptance. The sounds are as wild and characterful as the cast, grazing freely in the pastures of EDM, emo, brostep, future bass, maximalist pop, rock; it’s a masterclass in genre-hopping.
‘Pony Music’ is a prime specimen of this fusion: every sound is so eccentric and exciting that the lines between genres blur. From breakbeats to bronystep growls, electric guitar chugs to cumbia percussion, Vylet Pony is really in a herd of her own… But that’s not to say she didn’t bring her friends along, with vocal contributions from Chi-Chi and Feather, acoustic drum breaks from Novacore Drums & violin by Azure Comet. The sounds shine bright in a way that reveals an expertise, not just a curiosity, in every niche the pack explores—we may have a hard time tagging this pack, but not at all a hard time using it.
“The pack is a kind of Something Burger. I wanted to create a Something Burger of stuff as well as things that make you grow. I want you to bring Pony Music into your house and home so it can scare you and your loved ones. I love you. You're a pony now, because of this.”
