Evocative Electronica. 'Hybrid Downtempo' blends acoustic and electronic elements with experimental processing techniques, combining them to create both an organic and ethereal set of samples. Featuring a '50s Bentley upright piano mangled and processed through reverbs, delays and granular effects to create otherworldly soundscapes still rooted in a physical space. This was paired with the raw, brassy sound of a Prophet Rev 2 analogue synthesiser, used to create evolving and organic pads and meandering synth lines as well as a Moog Subsequent 25 which provided deep analogue bass.
