Now, with the help of Splice, he's sharing them all with you. With a knack for crafting sounds dripping with authenticity and unique spins on a wide variety of genres, this collection of hand crafted sounds and samples from maxime. are bound to find a spot in your next track.

Inspiration for Splice Originals - Gutta: Hard Trap comes from the sounds of grimy street rap such as Lil Baby, EST Gee, and 42 Dugg. You’ll find lots of pianos chopped with Gross Beat from Fruity Loops and filtered to get that dark sound. Synths come from the Arturia V8 plugin using heavy saturation. We brought in strings and brass with the new Triton Extreme plugin. Other strings, plucks, and choirs came from the Mellotron with tons of filtering, chopping, and reverb to get that haunting vibe. You can’t have grime without that bounce. Drums are hard-hitting with kicks, snares, and 808s rounding out this pack and bringing it alive.

More than 20% of the marine species in Galapagos are found nowhere else on earth. Favorites include the giant Galapagos tortoise, marine iguana, flightless cormorant, and the Galapagos penguin.

Our team recorded this pack at Anguilla Music Academy (AMA) with studio owner Darius James, whose story starts with his birth in Dominica and subsequent touring of the Caribbean with multiple musical acts. AMA is a world-class recording studio and non-profit academy dedicated to educating the local Caribbean community on the techniques and philosophies of recording and producing music.

The Soul Surplus team presents “Bonjour Amor: Cinematic Soul,” a special release inspired by classic 70s European soul soundtracks. These grand moments of lush instrumentation are score-like and are compositions we know will be regal and mature additions to your personal library. Each loop was carefully curated and created to mimic a deep crate dive in the cinematic section of an old record shop. 

For this sample collection Found Sound Nation teamed up with master daf (frame drum) player, Tarık Aslan, and self-taught luthier and craftsman, Ruşen Can Acet, to create a set of dynamic percussive Daf loops and intoxicating melodies played on one of the oldest Turkish bowed instruments - the kabak kemane. This set of samples was recorded in Istanbul by Tarık and Ruşen and features hand-built instruments made by the performers themselves. 

In the early 2000’s, no one was touching Roc-A-Fella. There were movements like G-Unit, and Dre had it locked on the East Coast, but Jay had a Dynasty in which those artists are still topping the charts today. “Dynasty” celebrates the sound of Roc-A-Fella from decades past.
