BASSLINE - VACCUM EVOLVED. The AIR Bassline emulates the sound of classic mono synths with a contemporary twist. The Bassline is a monophonic vintage synthesizer featuring Vacuum Tube Synthesis with an evolved version of AIR's vacuum tube circuit modelling made first famous by AIR VACCUM.

Since the release of VOCALOID5 in 2018, Yamaha has been working on a new artificial vocal synthesis engine VOCALOID:AI. On October 13, 2022, Yamaha officially released the synthesis program under the product name VOCALOID6. The new VOCALOID6 includes artificial intelligence-based voice synthesis library support and compatibility with existing databases.

These programs are 'based off of' a pair of rack mounted, ultra clean and clear compressors, which are essentially remakes of the channel compressors that were found in the famous '9k' desks. These are very transparent compressors, but if they do add any color to the sound it might be a slight slickness to the high end (some character also shows through the attack and release behavior). With several dBs of gain reduction, other compressors can start to sound congested in the mids/bass, but these still sound clear and open.
