The idea behind SubMassive is that "you can't EQ what isn't there". In the same way that harmonic exciters can be used to generate high end for sounds lacking high frequencies SubMassive can be used to generate low frequencies that do not exist in the source material.

True Mid/Side is a unique plugin that extracts the true phantom center and true STEREO side signals from a stereo mix. Traditional “Mid/Side” processing is often a misnomer for what is technically “sum and difference” processing. In this traditional approach the “Mid” output is simply the mono sum of left and right (L+R) while the “side” output is the mono difference of left and right (L-R). Any signals panned hard left or hard right - which are actually pure “side” signals - will appear in both the Mid and Side outputs.

SideMinder ZL2 the 2nd generation of our 3-band, Zero Latency Dynamic Stereo Width Maximizer with a gain core optimized for live use and zero latency monitoring applications. As with all SideMinder plugins, SideMinder ZL2 provides automatic stereo width limiting that can be used to increase (or decrease) the width of stereo mixes while remaining MONO COMPATIBLE. SideMinder ZL2 controls the stereo width dynamically to keep the signal wide at all times while preventing "overwide" negative correlation that can cause loss of content when mixed to mono.

SideMinder 2 is the 2nd generation mono-band dynamic stereo width maximizer that can increase the stereo width of a track, bus and/or master mix while limiting over-widening that can produce signal loss when mixed or played in mono.

Pristine Peaks is an ultra-low distortion peak limiter for use in both mixing and mastering applications where the utmost in transparent peak control is required. Pristine Peaks uses a novel approach to dynamics control that produces a very "clean" sound that does not break up or distort even at high gain reduction amounts. Instead of saturating or clipping waveform peaks, Pristine Peaks determines what needs to be done to control the peaks and applies that gain change to the entire waveform. This results in extremely low THD that does not increase with gain reduction.

Pristine Peaks IE is a streamlined version of our stereo Pristine Peaks limiter that has been enhanced and optimized for multi-channel surround and “immersive audio” applications. Pristine Peaks IE, like Pristine Peaks, is an ultra-low distortion peak limiter for use in both mixing and mastering applications where the transparent peak control is required.

Limited-S is a high quality De-Esser, Enhancer and harshness controller designed for use in both mixing and mastering applications. Limited-S uses a different approach than typical De-Essers, Dynamic EQs, etc., in that it does not use a tradition compressor-type Attack/Decay level detector. Instead, Limited-S uses a very fast, Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter that exactly calculates the envelope of the signal at all times. There is no need to fuss with attack and decay settings to get acceptable results.
