Splice's Signal Path label is proud to present Ana Barreiro: Brazilian Percussion. LA-based drummer, composer, and music educator Ana Barreiro has deep roots in Brazilian music and Jazz. Originally from Poços de Caldas, a town located in the Southeast region of Brazil, she's learned from some of the most important music educators across Brazil and the US. Today, she teaches at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, Stanford Jazz Camp, and Jazz Camp West in California. She has harnessed all of that extensive knowledge and experience to craft Brazilian percussion loops and one-shots for Splice creators like you to pay homage to her culture and add some Brazilian flavor to your next production.

Jubilee has been staying up all night for as long as anyone can remember. She grew up in South Florida on the sounds of Miami bass, freestyle, and dirty south rap blasting from local radio stations like Power 96 and 99 Jamz. As a teen, she traveled to raves up and down the coast, absorbing Florida's uniquely regional palette of breaks, electro, and drum & bass.

Egyptian Lover is back and Splice's Signal Path label is proud to present 808 Black. Egyptian Lover (born Greg Broussard) is a legend in the U.S. electro and hip hop scenes. Needless to say, we were excited when he spent a day at Sound Factory LA, bringing with him two hardware 808 units and a vocoder to lay down some samples and vocals. Egyptian Lover started out making mixtapes as a teenager, rhyming over tracks he recorded off the radio, before taking his mix of rhymes and electro beats to the LA streets as a member of Uncle Jamm's Army.

WoodBoxes is a compilation of two Cajon libraries, WoodBox a regular sized Cajon and TheBox a Bass Cajon. WoddBox has been recorded with 2 microphone positions, a stereo pair in front of the Cajon and another one facing the back. All the samples have been carefully trimmed to keep the phase alignment.
