Garden of Delays. Petal is a Max for Live multi-tap delay that draws any sound into an ever-unfolding garden. The core of Petal is its eight-tap delay, evenly spaced at the dialed in delay time. Individual taps can be toggled on or off to create irregular rhythmic delays.

Foil is a Max for Live additive synthesizer device. Foil uses eight sine wave oscillators: Oscillator 1 is triggered by the ADSR envelope in the front, while Oscillator 8 is triggered by the ADSR envelope in the back. Meanwhile, Oscillator 2 ~ 7 in between follows an interpolated envelope value.

One of the coolest sounding synth bass sound and the bass riff ever made by MJ! We had to do this as a long time MJ fan! The synth bass was recorded with Neve 1073 into Telefunken M15 Tape Recorder to get that Big Bottom-end analog sound!
