Each preset transports the listener to another sound universe and works in a wide variety of music production scenarios. From cinematic textures and effects to unique “signature” instruments, Apollo was conceived and inspired by some of the most epic films, bringing great playability and expression to the table.

Fractals for Padshop 2 will take your breath away. It is made from sounds recorded on modified cassette tapes complemented by organic percussions and dreamy blended analog synths. The crackles and noises of the tapes make everything sound rich and organic. Fractals concentrates on creating a positive vibe that goes great with lo-fi, ambient soundscapes, downtempo beats or soundtracks.

Explore the extremes of sound. Polarities for Padshop 2 by Simon Stockhausen juxtaposes electronic and acoustic sounds, exploring extreme sonic territories which clash with, oppose or complement each other. This confrontation between two poles can happen in various ways: either inside a patch, for example by morphing the sound from frozen to moving, from tonal to noisy, from divine to evil; or by splitting polarized sounds on the keyboard.

Dive into another dimension of sound. Evo Elysium is a collection of 100 presets for Padshop 2, containing melodic arpeggios to rich-layered pads and dynamic, expressive synth keys, edgy basses and ambient sequences which all fuse together in this ambient electronica release, balanced with a hint of the '80s and influenced by artists like Tangerine Dream, The Orb, Tycho, Vangelis and Enya.

Outstanding sounds. Granular Guitars is the second exclusive VST Sound Instrument Set created by sound designer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Simon Stockhausen. It spans nearly three gigabytes worth of studio-grade recorded samples, covering various acoustic and electric guitars as well as providing more exotic instruments like psaltery, celtic harp and oud played in traditional styles, plus experimental ways of treating the guitar.

Uncovered in the estate of a relative, we found 12 microcassette recordings of a long-gone community orchestra. Cut from these recordings are numerous hits, chords, and individual instrument tones lo-fi enough to make even the most ardent VHS collector shed a tear.
