Welcome! This tutorial is for intermediate or advanced singers, with exercises that require agility and vocal control. If you’re new to singing, or just want to brush up on the basics, try my daily routine for beginners first!

This is your pro warmup routine! Because the exercises are sequential, I do recommend that you always start with an exercise or two from part 1: balancing your breath and lining up your cords. In part 2, we gradually open up to a vowel and begin sustaining pitches. Then in part 3, it’s all open vowels and agility, with a bonus speed round for singers working on runs and melismas.

As with all of our warm-ups tutorials, they’re designed to take you from gently warming up to stretching your skills. In part 1, we activate our breath and create space. In part 2, we build strength and focus on tone. And part 3 contains arpeggios and melismas to increase your vocal agility. This is great for all levels, but if you get to part 3 and feel it’s moving too fast, I recommend you check out the beginning warm-up tutorial and build from there.

If you haven’t yet completed Camille's tutorial on major and minor chords, we recommend you do that first! Diminished and augmented chords are more rare, especially within pop music, but they do show up from time to time. In part 1, we’ll learn to sing diminished and augmented 5ths. In part 2, we’ll focus specifically on diminished chords. And in part 3, we’ll focus on augmented chords. Let’s begin with a quick warmup!

DS WASAPI ASIO Router Mixer is an audio input to audio output router/mixer with support of Direct Sound, WASAPI and ASIO modes. Any type and number of audio inputs can be routed to any type of audio output with matrix mixing, VST DSP plugin support, 11 band equalizer and recording option. ASIO output mixer is optionally multi-threaded to achieve lowest possible latency for high resolution 96/192KHz output with DSPs as well. Equalizer, matrix mixing and VST DSPs have a preset system to store and recall settings.
