Our highly anticipated launch is finally here! We have spent many thousands of hours rebuilding and redesigning every nook and cranny of ANA to create a beautifully elegant and powerful synth. One that is super simple to use but with an extensive toolset to allow you to create complex and exciting sounds.

transient control, oek-style
spiff is our take on transient control. Following the success of our first plug-in, soothe, spiff was designed to fill in the gap of the sound engineer’s toolkit. It has been designed to cut or boost transients with extreme detail. Similar to soothe, spiff analyses the incoming signal and applies the processing only on the parts of the signal that contain the transient information. This keeps the rest of the signal intact and free from side effects.

soothe2 is a dynamic resonance suppressor. It identifies problematic resonances on the fly and applies matching reduction automatically. This results in a smoother, more balanced sound and saves you from having to notch out the frequencies by hand. The reduction kicks in only when and where needed without affecting the nearby frequency areas. This preserves the timbre of the original sound source and results in transparent treatment with minimal artefacts.

This sample pack contains over five hundred individual tool sounds. There are plasma cutters, chainsaws, lawnmowers, hand tools and many, many others. These sounds were recorded in machine shops, garages, sculpture studios and outdoors. The recordings will fit seamlessly into sound design sessions for visual media. Many of the sounds also contain a multitude of potential for rhythmic and tonal applications. The warbling vibrato of a japanese handsaw or the echoing boom of hitting rebar on a large metallic sculpture, for example, are ripe for processing and music making. All sounds were recorded with a stereo pair of Neuman KM184s into a Sound Devices recorder.
