Emerging from the depths of the underground D&B scene...

Paying tribute to a decade marked by pivotal innovations in the synthesizer and its ubiquity in popular music, Berklee College of Music instructor Christian Li has created a sample collection of original sound design with iconic 80s synths including the Yamaha DX-7, Prophet 6, Roland SH-101, and the Yamaha CS1. Echoing the sonic fabric of electro, prog rock, synth pop and beyond, 80s Analog Synth is a no-nonsense, utilitarian toolkit bringing historic analog synthesis to a sample-based producer's fingertips.

Wuki is the genre-blending solo project of Los Angeles-based producer, Kris Barman. Influenced by the sounds of Detroit ghettotech and Chicago footwork scenes, Barman's ability to seamlessly mix booty, breaks, electro, and house into hard-hitting club-shakers has become a trademark of the Wuki sound. The ever-evolving Wuki has done official remixes for some of electronic music's top artists including The Chainsmokers, RL Grime, Kill The Noise, Galantis, and has releases on notable imprints such as Mad Decent, OWSLA, and more.

This Sample pack was created by Keita Ogawa, a Grammy Award winning percussionist/Drummer who is working with some of the worlds Top artist like Yo-yo ma, Snarky Puppy and many more.

What initially started as a series of Sunday morning after-parties at various venues including The Gass Club, Elephant & Castle, and The Arches, the 'Sunday Scene' kickstarted and pioneered one of London's most culturally important music scenes. Although to begin with the DJ's were spinning (almost exclusively) US house tracks and dubs by the likes of Masters at Work & MK, they played these records at a much faster tempo, creating the essential energy and flow needed to re-invigorate ravers who'd (mostly) been across the road at the Ministry of Sound all night.
