Rwanda is a beautiful East African country with rich cultural and musical histories, which Splice was lucky enough to briefly experience. We visited the Land of a Thousand Hills with a field recorder, capturing a wide variety of unique sounds intended to provide a small taste of the Rwandan cultural landscape through audio.

Caleb Spaulding (percussionist) and Levina Li (filmmaker and producer) travel together to Marrakech, Morocco to record the sonic landscape of the robust city. Caleb and Levina meet and record local musicians performing traditional Berber instrumentation, and also travel around the city recording environmental ambiences + found sounds.

In 2019, Splice sound designers recorded the sounds of the Splice HQ office in New York City, featuring tape dispensers, sugar packets, paper cutters, staplers, and more. The sounds of the office are presented both in raw, natural recordings, as well as sound designed loops to show how then can be used to create unique musical elements.

Noir Sound - The Music Library is a collection of original compositions designed specifically for producers. The kit includes 17 fully mixed & arranged samples in multiple styles, tempos, and genres, 11 original Percussion loops & 22 One Shot Drum Hits.

This soundset features epic ambient washes, dystopian soundscapes, glitchy comb filter FX, dynamic feedback machines, thumping bass sounds, formant phaser pads and much more.
