Skyking - DRUMS 005 was recorded and processed by critically acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Lee Faulkner over the winter of 2024-2025, in multiple studios across Portland, Oregon. Created using a variety of vintage and modern microphones, preamps, hardware samplers, cassette and reel-to-reel tape machines, vintage drums, percussion instruments, plus digital and analog gear—resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind collection of sounds.

Our fresh constract kit is inspired by the pioneers of dub-techno music and the times when every new dub-techno release didn't sound identical to the previous ones, and the genre itself was more dancefloor frendly.
